COMMEMORATION OF THE KABYLE BLACK SPRING OF 2001
MAK SAN FRANCISCO is accustomed to calling each year to remember and to maintain the memory of those who paid with their lives for our freedom and our dignity and to denounce the massive and arbitrary arrests and imprisonments of peaceful Kabyle activists by algerian regime.
We are calling on all Kabyle families as well as friends of Kabylia to come in large numbers to join us for this peaceful protest which will take place at 2174 Shattuck Square, Berkeley, CA 94704 at 11AM.
THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROTEST ARE:
– Demand the cancellation of the death sentences of innocent Kabyle citizens.
– Denounce the terrorism practices by Algeria in Kabylie
– Demand the immediate and unconditional release of all detainees.
– Demand an international investigation into the abuses, violations and attacks suffered by Kabylia and its children.
– Repeal of Article 87 bis.
– To show solidarity with our detainees and support their families.
-To pay tribute to the militants of the Kabyle cause, and to meditate in memory of the victims of the black springs.
– Reaffirm our determination to continue our fight relentlessly, until our independence.
Our cause will triumph!

Le MAK SAN FRANCISCO a pris l’habitude d’appeler chaque année à se souvenir et à entretenir la mémoire de ceux qui ont payé de leur vie pour notre liberté et notre dignité, et à dénoncer les arrestations et emprisonnements massifs et arbitraires des militants kabyles pacifiques par le régime algérien.
Nous appelons toutes les familles kabyles ainsi que les amis de la Kabylie à se joindre massivement à nous pour ce rassemblement pacifique qui se tiendra au 2174 Shattuck Square, Berkeley, CA 94704 à 11h.
LES OBJECTIFS DE CE RASSEMBLEMENT SONT LES SUIVANTS :
– Exiger l’annulation des condamnations à mort prononcées contre des citoyens kabyles innocents.
– Dénoncer les pratiques terroristes de l’Algérie en Kabylie.
– Exiger la libération immédiate et inconditionnelle de tous les détenus.
– Réclamer une enquête internationale sur les abus, violations et atteintes subis par la Kabylie et ses enfants.
– Réclamer l’abrogation de l’article 87 bis.
– Témoigner notre solidarité envers nos détenus et soutenir leurs familles.
– Rendre hommage aux militants de la cause kabyle et se recueillir à la mémoire des victimes des printemps noirs.
– Réaffirmer notre détermination à poursuivre notre combat sans relâche, jusqu’à notre indépendance.
