FLASH INFO | Vendredi 15h (Kabylie / France) : L’ONG Kabyles for Human Rights à l’antenne de la radio WRFI pour une émission spéciale sur les droits humains
WASHINGTON, D.C. (SIWEL) — Une émission spéciale consacrée aux droits humains et à la justice sociale, avec un focus particulier sur la Kabylie, sera diffusée ce vendredi 26 décembre 2025 sur WRFI Community Radio, avec la participation de Kabyles for Human Rights (KHR), une ONG américaine indépendante qui dénonce l’oppression du peuple kabyle par le pouvoir algérien et supporte le droit de la Kabylie à son autodétermination.
L’intervention de l’ONG Kabyles for Human Rights aura lieu dans le cadre de l’émission The Human Rights and Social Justice Program, animée par Ute Ritz-Deutch, historienne enseignant l’histoire et la philosophie au sein du réseau de la State University of New York (SUNY). Ce programme donne la parole à des militants et à des universitaires autour des enjeux des droits humains et de la justice sociale, en analysant leurs interactions aux niveaux local, national et international.
L’émission sera diffusée de 9h00 à 10h00 (heure de la côte Est des États-Unis – ET), soit 15h00 en Kabylie et en France, pour une durée de 60 minutes. Elle abordera les violations des droits fondamentaux en Kabylie, la politique répressive du régime algérien à l’encontre des Kabyles, ainsi que la question du droit du peuple kabyle à l’autodétermination au regard du droit international.
Cette diffusion sur une radio communautaire américaine indépendante s’inscrit dans la stratégie de KHR visant à internationaliser la question kabyle et à alerter l’opinion publique nord-américaine sur une situation largement ignorée des grands médias.

(SIWEL) — A special broadcast dedicated to human rights and social justice, with particular attention to Kabylia, will air on Friday, December 26, 2025, on WRFI Community Radio, featuring the participation of Kabyles for Human Rights (KHR), an independent U.S.-based NGO that denounces the oppression of the Kabyle people by the Algerian authorities and supports Kabylia’s right to self-determination.
Kabyles for Human Rights will take part in The Human Rights and Social Justice Program, hosted by Ute Ritz-Deutch, a historian who teaches history and philosophy within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. The program features conversations with activists and scholars on human rights and social justice issues, examining how these issues intersect at the local, national, and international levels.
The show will air from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM U.S. Eastern Time (ET), which corresponds to 3:00 PM in Kabylia and France, for a 60-minute broadcast. Discussions will address documented human rights abuses in Kabylia, the Algerian regime’s repressive policies toward the Kabyle people, and the Kabyle people’s right to self-determination under international law.
This broadcast on an independent U.S. community radio station reflects KHR’s strategy to internationalize the Kabylian issue and to raise awareness among North American public opinion about a situation largely ignored by mainstream media.
